Also called Bugle. Found in gardens. Mint family. Spreads quickly.

Low mats, stems erect up to 12 inches tall.

Leaves may be copperish, purple. 

Flowers in spikes. About 1/2 inches in size. Very small upper lip.

Halls Lake, Chippewa Watershed Conservancy, Isahella County, Michigan.
