Also called Peruvian Daisy and Shaggy Soldier.

Annual, Nonnative from S. America. 1/2 to 2 feet tall.

Flowers are about 1/4 inch in diameter with 4-6 ray florets and a central yellow disc flower. Petals have 3 notches.

Leaves are simple,opposite, hairy with 3 main veins. (2 by 3 inches.)

Waste areas, disturbed areas including cracks in sidewalk.

Sylvester, Michigan, Mecosta County. Sidewalk crack. 6/22
