Also called Green-headed Coneflower. Native. Up to 10 feet high. Hairless.

Leaves are pinate with 3-7 lobes. Lower stalked, upper stalkless.Alternate.

Flower: 21/2 to 4 inches. Composite. Reflexed rays. Central disk spherical and dull green.

Prefers rich wet ground.
