Native. A shrub up to 15 feet tail. Attracts insects.

Flowers in clusters 3/4 to 1 inch in diameter. Made up of 100-200 flowers. White, trumpet shaped, approximately 1/3 inches long with 5 lobes. 

Protruding styles and stamens make flowerhead look like a pincushion.

Leaves aresimple,  glossy on top, paler beneath. Opposite or in whorls of 3.
