Heath Family. Evergreen shrub. 1-4 feet tall.

Flowers: White, bell-shaped, hanging on one sidded racemes. Aprox. 1/4 in in size.

Leaves: 3/4 to 2 inches long. Leathery, elliptical and dotted with small scales, greatest on underside.

Most common of bog shrubs.
