Flower head without ray flowers. ( petals) Disk about 1/4 inch in dia. Greenish yellow. Black spots on bracts.

Leaves are simple and alternate. 1-4 inches long by 3/4 inch wide. Pinnately lobed. Lower leaves  largest becoming smaller as rise on stalk.

Stem is hollow. green-redish.
